Friendship
There is a family in town who has taken one of the men from Bethesda out to eat, to a ball game, or just over to their house just to hang out at least once a month for the past 17 years. They are his best friends. They are to all of us at Bethesda the best example of "involvement" we have ever seen. We love each other at Bethesda ~ but let's be honest ~ who doesn't need to get away from their family every once in a while? So give us a call - take one of these guys out on the town or into your backyard. Be a friend.

Volunteer
For individuals who want to come for one day of volunteering, we currently have a few days where we invite the community to come do some spring yard work with the men. In March and April check out our Facebook page for dates.
Local organizations also have coordinated days to come as a group and volunteer and we are more than willing to work with your organization to schedule a special volunteer day!
For ongoing volunteer work there may be possibility for such an arrangement if your interests, skills, and schedule align with the goals of our organization. Please contact us with your ideas!

Like us on facebook to stay updated on all of our community events like the Garden day in the spring or the Pumpkin Day in the fall.

Give us a call if you would like to schedule a group tour for your orgnaization, school or church group. We appreciate donations to cover our time but even more than that we appreciate your carrying of our message, "We all have disabilities but together we can accomplish so much!" with you into your daily life.
Puchase or Donate
Trees, firewood, vegtables, flowers, plants, wood crafts, and fine art are all products that we have for purchase throughout the year. Your purchase of these items is the direct source of the men's income. So ~ buy local.
If you aren't in need of any of the above items but you would like to fund the men, you can join a long line of generous individuals who have sustained us thus far. We will pray over you and your donation and we will seek to utilize it to improve the lives of the men and multiply it through labor. Past donations have funded our first tree purchase, our accesible gardens, all of the machinery, buildings, the greenhouse, hoop house and SO many supplies. Thank you in advance.
