"Universal" Care

Shelley Stafford's advice for people preparing to "do life" at Bethesda are, "expect the unexpected."  These residents - their abilities, needs and personalities do not fit in any boxes and they are far more than any label given them ~ therefore the lifestyle we provide requires thinking outside of the box every day and defying all labels of a "job."  We provide "universal care" because these men have graciously invited us into their universes and into EVERY part of their lives.  And it is out of this world!
