We are a family

Two is better than one

It is our firm belief that what the world needs is to recognize that “we all have disabilities.”  People with developmental disabilities need to be told less often, “You can be independent” and more often, “Everyone needs help.”  Because we do.  The life that everyone lives at Bethesda is one of deeply recognized dependance. First, upon God and then upon each other. This is called humility. One might say pride is a our society’s greatest disability.  Thankfully there is one who hears our prayers and holds our hand every step of the way.
